Not My Cupcake!

Today my fren and I decided to tryout other cupcakes than mine, so we went to Sunway Damansara; one of the cake decorating tools outlet (mostly products from Wilton) and tryout their cupcakes. They have an attached café with the shop that sells all sorts of cupcakes in various flavors! Cute they were. I took chocolate cupcake with chocolate buttercream frosting and my fren CT had Vanilla cupcake with strawberry filling and chocolate buttercream frosting.

Diya is Lovin it! How come? She must be bored with my cakes already eheheheh… the cakes are very cute with very simple flowers decoration and meant for eating type (I mean not so fancy type drawings…)

I would definitely make mine like them if it’s for my family occasions.

Diya finished the whole piece!

My Hobby

~~~~My Fondant Set Tools~~~~
Finally I got myself a basic fondant set tool for my fondant work on cupcakes… I learnt the basics using buttercream and freehand drawings by myself through trial and error and guided by few Wilton cake decorating DVDs and now I’m ready to start using fondant for my cupcakes. I need more tools definitely once im familiar with the basics and later I can go get the more advanced sets ehehhe.. im a fast learner and very determined to learn new things
This cupcake business of mine started as a hobby of mine in baking cakes and pastries. Normally I would just make them for close frens and they mostly encourage me to make it as my fulltime thingy (besides taking care of Diya ofcoz) and here I am.. Diya is still small and breastfeeding for me to leave her and attend classes so I’m postponing my cake decorating class until shes ready. Soon.. eh, soon..
Im very proud to be able to have a hobby that makes money eheheh.. but mostly im very happy to see my fans’s happy face everytime they see their cupcakes done by me! Full satisfaction! So guys… wish me luck!
Brownie For Diya
I just had to try out my aunt’s brownie recipe. She emailed me one day and I haven’t had any time to make them until this day! They are so easy to bake and idiot proof eheheh… just melted butter+cocoa powder+wheat flour+baking powder+eggs+sugar+chocolate chips! Just mix everything together and Walla, Yummie brownie!
Diya couldn’t wait to taste them and keep standing infront of the oven most of the time while sipping her favorite grape vitagen drink (now I allow her one bottle per day coz shes older and her eczema is not so bad anymore hehehe). That is why I still bake her deserts so I can control her allergies on food. Flavorings, eggs, milk, and much more shes allergic to mostly outside food and ready made or instant deserts. Poor baby… if I have the ice cream machine I would definitely make her non-dairy ice cream so she have treats like other normal kids eheheheh…
The end product; Dark Chocolate Brownie with Warm Chocolate Sauce.
Damian’s 1st Birthday Party
Diya attended her 1st fren’s party; Damian turned 1 yay!!!! She met few other frens also, Qarissa came with her mommy n daddy and other Debbie’s cousins… Diya was the ‘Balloon Queen’ that night.
She loves balloons sooo much but poor mommy hates them ehehehh… I can never tahan any balloons. So phobia! Of coz the other kids made FUN of me being so scared of balloons but after awhile they really understand kot ahahahah…
Diya had so much fun that day with Damian, Qarisa and also other baby lovers adult, Debbie has so many ‘funky aunts’ ahaks!
As all of you can see Diya always have all Damian’s toys with her and surprisingly Damian will share all his toys with Diya too. Qarissa is the youngest there but she reacts well with the environment and keep making the ah.. ah.. ah.. and gah.. gah.. gah.. sound when anybody approaches her. I guess its worth all her mom’s effort and money sending her to gymboree every week ehehehe...
Debie and Diana cook the whole feast that night and the sambal ikan bilis petai was SUPERB! She can really manage to cook for her huge family members’ tau, I'm so surprised. Must learn to organize party like this la so happening and I can budget my food too. And this time I get to see how the ‘Moreira Pie’ was made! I crave so much of that pie when I was pregnant last time!
Debbie
Debbie
This is Debbie. I have known her since we were 7 years old. We have always been in the same class EVERY year. We attended mandarin class and her uncle Jo always brings us for tosai before class starts. We can only tahan for two days in the mandarin class ehehehhe…
We grew up together and stay frens together until now. Even our babies are almost the same age! I hope they can be frens like their moms are ehehehe…
Debie is the most determined person I have ever met. She always knows what she wants and what is best for her and everything she does has no regrets. She knows me the best. Even I don’t know me like she does. She is a very strong woman and now she is a SUPERMOM! She can hold Diya and Damian at one time and still pay for the food at the counter ahahahah...
This is our coffee night after having our own child.
Now that we already have kids we still be close to each other at all times… she keeps me strong all the time and stay strong behind me no matter what I decide to do. Always the positive side of me and see me the part I hardly know I am.
One thing that we both love to do together until now is hangout at coffee shops. Always!
This is mostly or coffee meetups, salad sharing and sometimes BIG lunch!
The only thing she never misses is my BIRTHDAY! Every year she will have at least a small piece of cake for me. And we always love to celebrate our birthday at coffee shops; her favourite is Coffee Bean. We love to share salads together infect we share almost everything together except for MEN! We have totally different taste on MEN ahahahah!
This is when we celebrated my 24th, 25th and 26th birthday
But the most happening birthday I have ever had was on my 27th birthday! She took me to ‘JUNGLE” in KL and others were HISTORY ahahahah…
This picture was on the night of her wedding and lunch after her registration ceremony.
Damian is already one year on his 1st birthday party.
Now that we are married, we have limited time together but still we keep intouch thru emails, messenger all the time. Gossips? Yeah, always eheheh… we both have families now and she is still on my VIP list. I talked to her almost about everything and everyday. Even a small tiny winy bit of my mind I will quickly text her or just email her like Bie, I think I need this or that? And she will go why u need those? Remember you must always save money tau… and so on… eheheh…
We try to get our kids close together most of the time
~~~~I LOVE U BIE~~~~

Diya and her ponytail hair…

She was so shy to take any pictures that morning… at first lar… but later her pose was better; I had her hair tied up that day. She hated every time I tie up her hair!

She look a little bit tan coz the week before sha had a super FUN day at the pool with Damian… Anyways… Her hair is getting longer everyday and I soooo wanna have her with long hair, so I just have to bear looking her messy most of the time eheheheh….

Shes starting to show her face more coz I keep saying “eh, cantik nyer baby tu… cantil la, baju merah, rambut ikat mcm tu cute la…” then only she starts to get excited eheheh..

She looks so cute in her red sporty dress I got from one of da Japanese baby outfit shop in 1 Utama – Life Baby. I hardly put dress on her I just prefer her to wear jeans. Maybe I shld start make her wear dress la or else she will turn out like me when I was small – very BOYISH!

Does'nt she looks like Darla in Nemo the cartoon?

Girls Day Out…

Few months back I brought Diya out with her 2nd cousin Marissa and her mom… we all went and spent a whole day at Curve, Damansara.

Hello Eeeeya (Diya in her slang)! Waaaa.. You still have your cat with you at the mall ker? Eheheh… maybe thats what they were babbling about… we had lunch at Penang Café along The Street, Curve and later went inside the mall for sight seeing.

They just had to stopped at the kids play area on the 2nd floor! Few time of peekaboo here and there and off they RUN all over the place.. To make them sit still in one place we all went to another kids play area in Anakku. They provide tv there with kids rhyme and cartoons eheheh…

Diya had so much FUN there with all the toys and blocks while both of them watching the huge TV with Barneys on ehehehe… Then both of us mommies try to take fotos with our kids switched eheheh, both of them won’t stay still for a pose! We stayed there for hours then went to Diya’s Favourite place; Borders Bookstore!

At the kids section they shared crayons and sketch book and play together more… drawings, colourings, writings… the whole sketch book finishes within half an hour or so ahahahah… later when they got tired we brought them downstairs to the starbucks café in the bookstore for some refreshments.. Diya had soft doughnuts with chocolate frapuccino while marissa had chicken pie with and chocolate frapuccino… wow the kids really had FUN on that day…

After a while we arrived home Diya fell to sleep while Marissa is fresh awake! Eheheheh…

Swimming Day!

Swimming Day!

It was a perfect sunny day for a swim in the pool. Debbie and I had plan for this day since last week so our babies can have FUN together. Off we went to Shah Alam Golf Club (thanx to her mom’s luxury membership eheheh…) and spent the day there. We had Soooo much FUN especially all the kids (debbie’s younger sister and nephews) swimming and eating and more swimming and playing in the pool!

At 1st Diya was afaraid to in the water… the moment we arrived she was sooo excited to see the huge pool but then kept starring at the water once I put her down close to the pool.

She cried on her 1st attempt to get into the pool eheheheh… so funny and Damian was patiently waiting for her. So I had to jump in the water too with her..

She was still quite scared but later starts to ejoy herself in there… splash! Splash! the water most of the time and learning to kick and swim in there too! She loves the Damian’s beach ball and his bom balls eheheh.. They even fight for those balls too;

Sometimes I had to carry Diya in the pool and sometimes she enjoys being in her turtleboat whice I got for since she was still a baby! So cute! I think all toys for kids are cute ehehehhe…

So later after jumping and spalshing in the pool, the food finally came for all of us! Aunt Christine was mostly walked up and down to the café and take our orders coz lunch time the café was pack with golfers so they took quite sometime to send our food!

The food was splendid especially my mee mamak oh and yeah debbie’s fried kuew teow! Aunt Chee Fong was all da time organizing food for the kids la adults la and she had to finish ALL the kids leftover food eheheh…

After makan we all jump in the pool AGAIN… splish.. splash and more splashes! Diana came later and gave Diya a swimming lesson.

At 1st Diya was so afraid of Diana but Diana has always been good with kids (especially Damian) so she quite terror la to able to get Duya for awhile eheheh.. I would definitely hire u as Diya’s swimming instructor ahaks!

After hours of swimming in the pool finally we all decided to go back home. We all had a splendid day at the pool…
