Ayam Masak Merah

Ingredients:

Few cuts of chicken
1 potato cut into 4 pieces
1 inch ginger bruised
1 big onion thinly sliced
1 lemon grass bruised
1 tbs garlic paste
1 tbs chili paste (optional)
1 tbs oyster sos
3-4 tbs tomato ketchup
Little brown sugar and salt to taste.

Method:

Deep fry chicken with turmeric powder and salt until cooked. And continue with potatoes and put everything aside.

Heat oil and start with garlic paste and chili paste, until fragrant. Add in ginger, lemon grass and fry few seconds more then pour on all the sauces; oyster, tomato and sliced onions. Cooked until the gravy thickens, you can opt to add in a little water. Always use hot water so the temperature will maintain the same. Lastly put in all the fried chicken and potatoes and served Hot.
